Two properties make an action worth pausing on: it cannot be undone, or it leaves the workspace. Sending content to an external service publishes it — caches and indexes outlive a later deletion — and an overwrite destroys something that was not read first.
The rule is not “ask about everything”, which would make an assistant useless, and not “ask once and infer consent forever”, which is how a single yes becomes a standing licence. It is: look at the target before destroying it, and treat approval as scoped to the thing approved.
