The case
A62: “The runtime check found no accessible language-model inference endpoint or locally installed model weights. I can generate reconstruction chains … in this conversation, but that is not equivalent to running independent, blinded model calls.” C4’s recorded provenance: “Assistant-authored sequential demonstration, one conversation; not independent model invocations or a blinded evaluation.” Seed: “You can hustle all week, win a bet, or work an honest job. Come Friday, you spend your earnings on drinking, flirting, and celebrating. By Monday the money is gone, and you are ready to do it all again. The storyteller sounds like a knowing friend, amused rather than outraged.”
Content-word Jaccard with the seed, as A63’s chart states it:
| Generation | stable_complicit | shifting_frames | comic_to_moral |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.1667 | 0.1081 | 0 |
| 2 | 0.0714 | 0.0238 | 0.0476 |
| 3 | 0.1 | 0 | 0.0556 |
| 4 | 0.0789 | 0 | 0 |
Final texts: “The paycheck lands, the party takes it, and by Monday you’re broke. Your friend grins: same time next week?”; “Poor financial discipline can undermine long-term stability. A responsible person should limit discretionary spending and save consistently.”; “Hard-earned income should be saved instead of wasted on short-lived pleasures. Financial responsibility matters more than partying.”
What it can show
A63: “the stable-frame chain loses much of the original wording while retaining the implied friend’s affectionate complicity … Because I authored these chains with their intended trajectories in mind, their differences demonstrate the proposed measurement approach, not a discovered effect.” The metric is lexical; the retention of complicity is the author’s reading, not a measurement. It illustrates CLAIM-084 and can test nothing.
