Standing in the record
Registered on 2026-09-29 at the owner’s request, because the owner’s prior-art novelty map (a private working
document on concepts as projectors, the linear representation hypothesis and their neighbours) cites it: row 14: the Cramér–Rao bound (Cramér’s half).
It is seeded from metadata and published descriptions and has not been read here.
Only the year of first publication is known; published: uses 1 January.
Identification notes: DOI is Princeton’s digital edition (Crossref dates it 1946). Registering both halves of “Cramér–Rao”.
A close reading was attempted on 2026-09-29. No legitimate full text could be reached: The book is in copyright (Cramér d. 1985; Princeton 1946; the De Gruyter/Princeton digital edition, DOI 10.1515/9781400883868, is paywalled). OpenAlex marks it closed and Semantic Scholar shows no open PDF. An Internet Archive advanced search found two kinds of copy. The Digital Library of India scans (in.ernet.dli.2015.223699, dli.ernet.233638, dated 1946, plus one mis-dated 1922) are in-copyright material without an open licence, so they are not a legitimate open copy under the instructions and were not used. Every other copy is a controlled-lending or print-disabled scan of the 1951/1963/1966 printings, and none was borrowed. The converted-text cache holds no copy. It stays Unavailable until a copy is supplied, not on merit.
