Standing in the record
Registered on 2026-09-29 at the owner’s request, because the owner’s prior-art novelty map (a private working document on concepts as projectors, the linear representation hypothesis and their neighbours) cites it: row 8 and §2 item 2: the Stone leg of the Gelfand/Stone/Pontryagin duality tripod; ultrafilters ↔ topes. It is seeded from metadata and published descriptions and has not been read here.
The map names this reference only loosely; this entry is one reasonable reading of it, and the choice is the owner’s to revise.
Identification notes: Program name; canonical primary chosen (Stone 1936). The explicit topological duality is Stone 1937 “Applications of the theory of Boolean rings to general topology” (Trans. AMS 41) — registered and read 2026-09-29 as LIT-358. Crossref title ”…Representation for…” (singular); original title uses “Representations”.
It was filed Deferred, unread. NOTE-272 is the close reading of 2026-09-29, and it placed the work: Active — worth reading as the primary source of the Stone representation theorem, via prime ideals of Boolean rings, and of the Boolean-ring viewpoint. It is long and technical, and for the representation alone Chapter IV plus Theorems 1–2, 33–40 and 49 suffice. For the topological duality (Boolean algebras ↔ totally disconnected compact Hausdorff spaces), the map’s actual need, Stone 1937 (Trans. AMS 41, LIT-358) is the source.
