Standing in the record

Filed on 2026-09-29 as a supplemental reading. The close readings of the owner’s prior-art novelty map’s references found the map’s citation for this point wrong, or its source unreachable, and this work is the candidate replacement. published: is the first appearance (ADR-002).

It was filed Deferred, unread. NOTE-312 is the close reading of 2026-09-29, and it placed the work: Active — worth reading as the first derivation of the Birkhoff–von Neumann propositional calculus from operational premises (states, mean values, compatibility), and for its physical account of meet and join. It is not, however, a clean citation for “the orthomodular law”. The law is an unnamed lemma resting on “classical logic within compatible sets”, and the paper’s axiomatic target is modularity under a finite-chain assumption. A text that states orthomodularity as an axiom (e.g. Kalmbach, Orthomodular Lattices, 1983; unverified here) would settle row 1’s citation.
