ARG-052Van Lange and Bergmann’s model of intergroup cooperation does not establish that cooperation within groups and the coexistence of groups are distinct targets that can trade off: it shows that the processes building in-group cooperation can fuel conflict between groups, and says nothing on whether groups persist, go extinct or are owed impartial concernCLAIM-547 was filed citing Van Lange and Bergmann (2026) as the evidence the synthesis offers for its human case, before the review was read. Read in NOTE-1537, the review carries one link in the claim and not the claim. Rejected as an inference to the claim as titled. The link it does carry is recorded as corroboration (THEORY-1352 corroborates CLAIM-547), and the review is no longer among the claim’s grounds.Rejected
