The case

A21 proposed randomising translations and the attributed speaker (fellow reveller, moralist, social critic) and eliciting condemnation, solidarity, amusement and irony in varied order, then comparing a classical latent-variable model with a quantum one “rather than merely fitting additional parameters”. A24 made it “a factorial study manipulating wording, attributed speaker identity, and judgment context/order, with our Henley translations as stimuli”, comparing “conventional hierarchical probability models, sequential state-update models, and quantum-probabilistic models, with formal contextuality tests where the measurement design permits them”.

What it can show

If run, it bears on CLAIM-052 (order effects), CLAIM-009 (contextuality), CLAIM-091 (wording compensating for speaker) and CLAIM-005. It has not been run. The manuscript’s §10 Case I is its descendant, without the order factor, which moved to Case II’s alternating frames.
