Why this is here

A13 of the exchange put it first among the works the record lacked, and A14’s corrected audit kept it there; the readers’ check confirmed it is the one philosophical work A13 named that the record truly lacked. The record held it only by report, in NOTE-267 (the SEP entry on personal autonomy, LIT-296: “Responsiveness-to-reasoning (Christman 1991, 1993; Mele 1993, 1995)”). Bears on CLAIM-354, the owner’s graded freedom of U9 and U13–U14: Mele’s gap between ideal self-control and autonomy is one dimension that claim orders. A reading should check whether Mele’s history condition is a dimension of that partial order or a constraint on it.
