Why this is here

The exchange cited it as an external result bearing on CASE-092, the minimal coupled meaning–influence model: here influence weights are updated from appraised past control, and the dynamics concentrate power. It is the earlier statement of the mechanism formalized in LIT-1146. The exchange’s description gives no figures to check; the abstract’s result, that the loop drives power to concentrate, is what CASE-092 should be compared with.

Note of 2026-10-29, from the reading (NOTE-1374): it is the earlier statement of the update rule, not of LIT-1146’s model. Both set a member’s next self-weight to their control over the last issue, but this paper settles each issue by the Friedkin–Johnsen process, anchored on initial positions, and LIT-1146 by DeGroot consensus. The two predict different end states: here a single leader in almost every group, there one equilibrium ordered by centrality that is autocratic only for a star. A re-run on the same random complete networks on 2026-10-29 bore out the difference; the centrality ordering was not checked. So the comparison CASE-092 asks for has two baselines, not one.
