Why this is here

The nearest preregistered test found of minimal-group favouritism, asked for after Hornsey (NOTE-1253) and Reimer et al. (NOTE-1251) leaned on 1970s studies. It is not a direct replication of Tajfel et al. 1971 (LIT-1697); a search on 2026-10-29 found none at scale.
