Why this is here

Bencherki, Brummans & Vézy (LIT-1902) quote its first page for the view that events are not exceptional: “Something’s happening. Try as we might to gain an observer’s remove, that’s where we find ourselves: in the midst of it. There’s happening doing” (Massumi 2011, p. 1; parent p. 1353). They cite it for “start in the middle” (p. 1358) and for the pull of subject–verb–object grammar (p. 1364). None of this could be checked. Starting in the middle is stated plainly in Massumi’s 2009 interview (LIT-1905, pp. 1, 3), which was read.
