Why it is a question

THEORY-166 holds the regularity for one archive and shows that the equality alone does not favour quantum over classical probability: a classical model with order events can satisfy it. Whether the regularity survives question pairs chosen before the data are seen, by other investigators, and whether a classical model with memory constrained to the same equality fits the per-pair tables as well as the Lüders projection model, the evidence does not say. Until 2026-10-20 this was THEORY-166’s promote_when.

What would answer it

  • A test of the equality on question pairs chosen before the data were seen, by investigators other than its proposers, with the per-pair tables published.
  • A comparison, on the same tables, of the projection model against a classical model with memory that is constrained to satisfy the same equality.

What would not answer it: re-analyses of the same 72 studies, or a fit of the quantum model alone. That is what THEORY-166 already holds.
