U28: “the ‘objects’ are intersections of regions of observables”. A75: an observation induces R(o, v) = {s : o(s) = v}, and X = ∩_i R(o_i, v_i). “Here, X is generally a region, not a point. Many underlying states can satisfy the same constraints.” So ambiguity is natural, and a category such as teasing “is recognizable through a particular conjunction of linguistic, intentional, evaluative, social, and sequential observables”.
Why it was replaced
A78: the intersection “presupposes a single ambient state space in which all the regions are already defined” (TERM-002). The manuscript §2 keeps it with that caveat: “This simple construction, however, presumes a shared ambient S.”
