Why it is a question

A110 §IX.3: “Given a reconstruction kernel K, determine which observables satisfy Kf = f and which satisfy a bounded defect condition ‖Kf − f‖ ≤ ε. Investigate how these quantities depend on interpretive frames, genres, and model adaptation.” The argument’s §7 had boxed the general form: “Which observables are invariant under which communicative transformations?”, with the answer depending on the class: literal paraphrase, cross-cultural translation and text-to-image admit different transformations (A106).

Where it stands

The manuscript §4 gives the conservation criterion (CLAIM-107) and asks “at what reconstruction stage does the relation characterizing an affiliative act cease to be approximately invariant?” The dependence on frame, genre and adaptation is not asked. It joins this question to CLAIM-074 and CLAIM-049.
