The claim
The owner, on 2026-10-11, quoted in CLAIM-166: “I think it’s probably also worth noting that ‘who drives’ isn’t a constant.”
A drive profile (TERM-051) is defined at a time, over a window. This claim is that, for a person, it changes: “Who drives changes: by state (hungry or sated, stressed or calm), by task, and by regime. That is what the will line calls a change in which regime is effective (CLAIM-027, CLAIM-159).”
CLAIM-166 gives one source of such change, a lower-level collective, the gut microbiome, that can at times move hunger and affect. This claim does not depend on that source, and that one does not depend on this.
What it does not say
- That a change comes from below. That is CLAIM-166’s part, and its evidence.
- That drive profiles have been estimated in a person over successive windows. None has been, in the record; the defeat condition names the observation that would test this.
- How fast or how often a profile changes, or that every change of behaviour is a change of who drives.
