Why this is here
The triage of 2026-10-29 put it in the File tier for CLAIM-355 and the open questions of NOTE-1406. A27 of the owner’s exchange credited “Revonsuo’s 1999 treatment” with a distinction between functional and phenomenal binding and gave a five-part list of bindings. NOTE-1406 read Revonsuo’s own paper in the same issue, LIT-1208, and found neither: his terms are stimulus-related and consciousness-related binding, and his five kinds are all phenomenal. Whether this introduction, by Revonsuo and Newman, uses the words “functional” and “phenomenal”, or gives A27’s list, would settle the attribution CLAIM-355 quotes. Until it is read, the record should not credit A27’s scheme to either 1999 paper.
